Azzedine Alaïa, Une Autre Pensée Sur La Mode

Azzedine Alaïa’s Spring-Summer 1991 collection is today better known as the “Tati collection.”

The couturier had in fact designed a collection in the Vichy tarpaulin fabric with the white and pink houndstooth pattern emblematic of the popular Barbès brand. The Alaïa-Tati printed collection is now considered a major achievement in the history of fashion.
